School is ending and summer is approaching, I cannot believe it! It feels like we just got back into the groove of going into the classroom, and now we’re full on prepping for summer camps and time off. I’ve been taking advantage of my Walmart+ Membership, where you can receive free delivery from your local store on orders $35+ (restrictions apply) AND Walmart+ free shipping from Walmart.com. No order minimum required, so you can get items shipped as you need – for free (excludes freight & Marketplace items)! That’s a mouthful, but I’ve talked about the benefits of this membership since it became available and why I love it so much. With everyone’s schedules, my free time is nearly nonexistent and attempting a store run is not always easy with the kids in tow, but the Walmart+ Mobile Scan & Go benefit has made my life so much easier.
If you’re more of an in-store shopper, the Mobile Scan & Go is a dream to use. Simply open the Walmart app while in store and scan your items as you shop, then swing by self checkout at the end to pay. No managing tantrums or a hungry baby as you scan your items! To be honest, getting out to the store has also been a little bit of an activity for the kids, who are just now starting to get back to real life. I’m sharing some things the kids recently picked up for themselves to keep them busy, plus a few things for myself 😉
For the Kids:
Crayola Super tips washable markers– A fave in my household because I have little artists that are constantly getting marks on my sofas, walls and tables!
Elmers Color Changing Slime Kit- This makes for a great summer pass time and gift as well. My kids can play slime time all day long. Great for both boys & girls.
Kinetic Sand- Another great summertime activity that keeps the kids busy for hours on end.
Snacks & more snacks- Linked are some of my faves, and including a few healthy options the kids never fight me on.
For Mama:
Scoop Women’s A-line dress– perfect for the warmer months coming up. This color is so sweet and there’s others to choose from. I grabbed a size S.
Scoop Peasant Square Neck Top- Another summer staple, that’s airy and light. The puff sleeve adds a beautiful detail and it’s TTS.
